Last week, Brandon and I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Go Outside Workshop in Palm Springs given by Amelia and Justin Lyon and Angie and Matt Sloan. Two husband and wife teams that have been HUGE inspirations to Brandon and I since we started Lowe Photos in 2007. Even though we spent our first 2 nights away from Oliver (and we missed his so much), it was such a rad experience. We learned so much from everyone and we met some really awesome photographers from around the country (AND MEXICO). I think the biggest thing is that we relearned and were reminded again why we want to be wedding and portrait photographers. To capture moments in peoples lives and to capture that real love between couples. So with that we will be making some awesome changes all around to better our business (including BLOGGING more!! HOORAY!!) and client relationships. Anyways, we are both super excited.
Here are some photos of an awesome couple, Amy and John, that everyone in the workshop got to take photos on the first day. We each had 10 minutes alone with them and since we were at the Ace Hotel there was a lot we could do and those 10 minutes seriously flew by. Plus since Brandon and I usually shoot together, it was another challenge splitting up and seeing what we each did and where went at the hotel. Anyways, here are Brandon's and mine photos from that.
PS. Love Amy and John! They couldn't have been a sweeter and a more loving and real couple. I think at the end of the day they had photographers taking photos of them for about 4 hours. But they were seriously pro's and never lost that amazing chemistry. Plus I am kind of obsessed with Amy's hair. UGH, seriously perfect!! :)

These are STUNNING! I was already pumped for you guys to photograph our wedding, but words cannot express my excitement now!!!! I'm looking forward to next week!!!
